Natural Perth Newborn Photoshoots
WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE ME AS YOUR NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER?
My photoshoots are relaxed, natural, loving and slow paced. There is always time for you to feed, change or cuddle your baby. I focus on capturing all the little details as well as all the love! I offer locations outdoors, in my cosy Wanneroo studio and in home.
HOW OLD SHOULD YOUR BABY BE?
If you book in between 7 and 14 days you’ll get lots of calm and sleepy photos. If you book after then you’ll get more awake photos but your baby may be slightly harder to settle. After a month you get gorgeous photos showing some more personality! If you’ve had a C-Section or a traumatic birth I’d really recommend you take as much time as you need to rest and recover before your photoshoot. I promise the photos are always adorable no matter how old your baby is!

In-Home Newborn Photoshoots
What's a Perth in-home Photoshoot Like?
I offer warm and cosy at home photoshoots for you and your newborn! I’ll bring along my beanbag, baby basket and blankets to set up in your home.
These are super sweet and very relaxed. Such an authentic way to capture the early days without worrying about packing everything with you! It’s also a nice environment for any older siblings still adjusting to the change!
*If you are located more than 30km from Wanneroo there will be a travel fee added to the session fee*
Outdoor Newborn Photoshoots
What's an outdoor Perth Photoshoot Like?
These shoots are such a lovely way to capture your new baby in an outdoor settling. Perfect for when you already have toddlers which would benefit from more space to run around. Also a great option if you want something more natural!
I’ll bring along my little newborn basket and a wrap for the baby! These sessions can still happen in winter, we’ll just make sure bub is wrapped and snug!

I also offer beautiful outdoor Perth maternity photoshoots. These photoshoots include complimentary gown hire from a range of maternity dresses. Your partner, little ones and furry friends are welcome and encouraged to join!

I don’t offer props for my newborn sessions. If you are looking for a more classic, posed style then I’m probably not the right fit for you, but I can recommend some incredible local photographers which do this style of work beautifully! I do bring along a beautiful Moses basket to my sessions as well as a variety of blankets and wraps!
WHEN SHOULD YOU BOOK A NEWBORN SESSION?
I recommend getting in touch once you know your due date or after your maternity photoshoot! If your baby has already arrived please don’t stress. Just send me a message and I’ll see if I can squeeze you in.
WHAT IF YOUR BABY DOESN’T ARRIVE ON THEIR DUE DATE?
Newborn dates are always booked as flexible dates. Babies don’t tend to stick to our plans and schedules. Just reach out once bub arrives and we can move your date earlier or later if you need, no problem at all! If you have any questions or would like to enquire about booking a newborn session please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING TO A NEWBORN SHOOT?
Prepare as if you were going on a nice outing. A spare outfit, wipes, nappies, milk, blankets, dummy, toys. Anything to keep your little one comfortable!

Hey, I'm Sophie
I’m a bubbly and energetic Perth Photographer based in Wanneroo. I love helping families to create authentic and natural photos whilst having fun. I’m a huge kid person and absolutely adore hanging out with the little ones.
You’ll have to get used to hearing me say “omg cute”, “so gorgeous” and “you guys are doing amazing” throughout the whole session!
My main focus is always to make sure everyone feels comfortable, confident, and relaxed. I’ll be there every step of the way to help with any worries, concerns or questions!
