WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE ME AS YOUR NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER?
First of all I just absolutely love seeing and spending time with cute babies! My photoshoots are also relaxed, natural, loving and slow paced. There is always time for you to feed, change or cuddle your baby. If you're looking for studio photos then I'm probably not the photographer for you but can happily recommend some fantastic ones!
HOW OLD SHOULD YOUR BABY BE?
If you book in between 7 and 14 days you'll get lots of calm and sleepy photos. If you book after then you'll get more awake photos but your baby may be slightly harder to settle. After a month you get gorgeous photos showing some more personality! If you've had a C-Section or a traumatic birth I'd really recommend you take as much time as you need to rest and recover before your photoshoot. I promise the photos are always adorable no matter how old your baby is!
Sophie is extremely talented in every aspect of what she does and she was wonderful with my three-year-old son. As our newborn was just nine days old at the time, having a new baby brother was still a huge adjustment for my son. Sophie went at his pace when he felt like joining in and made him feel really comfortable. She made us all feel at ease, everything was very natural and we had a great experience all round.

I do bring along a beautiful Moses basket to my sessions as well as a variety of blankets and wraps!
I recommend getting in touch once you know your due date or after your maternity photoshoot! If your baby has already arrived please don’t stress. Just send me a message and I’ll see if I can squeeze you in. Bonus chance if your baby is super cute.

Prepare as if you were going on a nice outing. A spare outfit, wipes, nappies, milk, blankets, dummy, toys. Anything to keep your little one comfortable!
With an 18month old and newborn she took some beautiful candid and posed shots. She handled both girls with such a calm and positive attitude. Some of my favourite photos were taken when my toddler was running off being naughty and stealing props! Thank you Sophie!
